COMPASS

The “Compass” is a core section of most of the strategic plans we develop with our clients. Like a compass, this section provides your organization with a true north direction. We’re sharing ours so that you know what guides our decisions and organizational culture.

Our Mission

We help nonprofit professionals become better leaders, strengthening the organizations they lead.

Our Core Values

Our core values are not just something on a wall. They are uniquely “us” and they help our decision-making.

  • Create Long-term Relationships Throughout the journeys of both our clients and staff, we seek to create long-term relationships. When we think that way then we tend to listen and serve better. Plus, it’s just a great approach to life.

  • Think Years, Not Days Mission Met develops leaders and their organizations. That takes time, processes, and a discipline over years, not days. This is especially important in the nonprofit space where we’re often putting out fires and it can be hard to think long-term.

  • Keep it Simple Both our team members and our nonprofit clients have a lot on their plates. As such, we aim to keep things simple so that people can focus on only those things that really matter. Here is our blog article about simplicity.

  • Be Bright We try to bring an authentic lightness and positive energy to everything we do. This can be especially helpful in the nonprofit world where we are often addressing some difficult societal issues.

Our Simple and Powerful
Approach to Diversity, Equity,
Inclusion, and Justice

It’s a beautiful thing when people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives unite for a common purpose.

They create the best decisions, the strongest organizations, have the most joy, and help create a more equitable and just world.

We’re honored to live these simple and powerful ideals at Mission Met and help organizational leaders do the same.
